The Moscow City Court has upheld detention of a citizen of Norwegian suspected by Russian authorities of espionage, the court’s press service has told Media.

Earlier, the Lefortovsky District Court of Moscow ordered detention of Norwegian until February 5, 2018.

According to media reports, the defendant was arrested when he received secret documents containing information on Russian navy. Allegedly these papers were given by Russian national Alexey Zhitnyuk, who was detained in December on suspicion of treason.

Norwegian has pleaded not guilty, his lawyer Ilya Novikov has told Media.

Norway ‘is taking foreign children away from their parents because it has the highest rates of inbreeding in the world’: Country forced to deny claims child is taken into care.

The system of child protection, currently applied in norway violates child’s rights and is used as an instrument of political terror, based on anti-family ideology, Finnish expert believes.

Russian authorities have also attacked Norway over its seizure of children from their Russian-speaking families.
